Today was seminar day, and most of my uni colleagues had their cameras on for a change. I was taken with Myles video and the painting in the background. This is something he is working on apparently, and I always like his work.
For some reason this image has caught my imagination, and so I drag out the chalks and start on a canvas that has been lying around for some time unloved but prepped ready for something to catch my imagination.
This canvas is 100cm x 100cm
I think this has borrowed heavily from Myles work, but I have taken some inspiration from myself dancing after a shower. As always with painting, I have to take it further but have lost the mojo today and this will probably be it for a while. Acrylic paint and oil pastels.
